Wow…it has only been a little over three weeks since I packed up my life and moved to Gainesville, GA. How is that even possible? I feel like I have learned enough to last me a lifetime, no joke!

When I first arrived, I was given a key with a word on it that had been prayed over (I had ordered it in an email a month prior). The word I got was ‘yes’, which is interesting because my friend had gotten me a necklace for my birthday with that exact word on it but, the chain broke so I couldn’t wear it anymore. So, this was sort of the start of my journey with what it meant and how it looked to partner with the Lord. Ultimately – how to say yes to Him.

Man, this is not an easy thing, especially when He asks you to do something HARD. The thing is though, Jesus will never ask you to do something He knows isn’t for your benefit and for your good! So, even when it doesn’t look like it, saying ‘yes’ to Him will always bring a beautiful outcome. For instance; we had a teaching on the miraculous earlier this week, lead by a guest speaker, and we then had to put into action what we learned after the teaching was finished. My dear friend Gretchen, who I love with my whole heart, was having back pain the whole two hours this session was in place. At the end, she had to make the decision, a scary one at that, to say yes to the Lord and allow Him to work through us to heal her. Then, we all had to also make that hard decision to say yes, partnering with the Lord to see a miracle. Because of these hard yes’, we were able to then see as Gretchen’s back was healed. It was beautiful!

I’ve learned that this partnership is for my benefit, not even really for the Lord’s. Let me explain. If God wants to preform a miracle, He is going to preform a miracle! But, He wants us to press in, partner with him, and watch as He does what He does best-building our faith in the process. Mark 9:1 says,

“Jesus went on to say, “I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God arrive in great power!”

I want to be that some! I want to see the kingdom of God and all it’s goodness HERE on earth, now. I don’t want to have to wait till I die to experience the fullness of the Spirit! By partnering with the Lord I don’t have to wait. I can see backs healed. I can see bodies literally raised from the dead. I can see blind eyes and deaf ears opened. I can see lives completely transformed. All I have to do is say, “Yes Father, I will partner with you. I will say yes. Come and do what only you can do, here on earth. I want to see you move!”

Trust me, I still have so much to learn about what having a yes spirit means. What it looks like to surrender up everything to the Father, knowing that whatever I give Him, however small it may be, He will use it. Trusting fully that it is safer in His hands than it is in mine.

With that, I have exciting news!!! I am going to Louisiana!! I, along with my whole squad, are getting the opportunity to take what we have learned about partnering with the Lord and put it to use even more! There, we will be working with an organization called Samaritan’s Purse to bring relief to the towns that were effected by the Hurricane. We will be leaving October 10th to love on this community of people, and I could not be more excited!

Please be in prayer that the Lord will send people our way that need the Lord, and that we will all be willing to give away what we have so freely received. That we will say YES to what the Father is asking us to do, in order to glorify Him more. Also, please be in prayer about my fundraising journey! I have a little more than $900 to raise before my next deadline, and then $6,661 to raise in total. If you feel lead to donate, please do, or pray about doing so! I am confident that the Lord will provide, and I am confident in all of you!

You are all amazing. I would not be here without you. Thank you so so much for believing in me always. I love you!! 🙂
