Wow, this is actually happening right now…
That is all that has been going through my mind the past couple of months ever since I got accepted to go on this life changing adventure. And with 50+ strangers I know nothing about! That just makes it all the more mind blowing.
I guess I should start this out by introducing myself. So…hi, my name is Kailey Grueser. As of right now I am 17 years old and I can think of nothing else I want to be doing with my life except serving the Lord and growing His kingdom. For years I have known that I am called to the nations, but it was not until recently that I knew a part of that calling was the World Race.
I have always sort of been a sceptical person when it came to big decisions like this, just because I never want to be out of the will of God and just walking down my own path. I had this mindset that, if I took one wrong step then the Lord would no longer be there with me. Almost as if my walk with him was like a tightrope. Well, that my friend, could not be further from the truth. Not only will the Lord continue to be with me regardless of where I am in my life, if I have the Holy Spirit inside of me and am making an effort to follow after the Lord with everything inside of me, it is impossible to miss the blessings he has in store. It just so happens that one of those blessings for me was the World Race.
I am passionate about loving people above all else. Do I fail at this daily? Yes! But that just makes me strive to do it even more. People need to see and feel the love of Jesus through His people, and that is something I am not afraid to do. No matter the cost. So here I am, about to travel the world with many other people who are just like me in that aspect. And my heart could not be fuller.
If you would like to support me in both prayers and donations, it would be greatly appreciated! All you need to do to donate is click on the donation button on the left hand side and it will then take you to a website that will give you the rest of the details! Anything helps, truthfully.
Thank you all so much for everything you do.
-Kailey
