Hey everyone. Im Amya, i’m currently in cosmetology school. I’ve have been interested in the World Race since my sophomore year of high school, but never thought it could be my reality. i finally took a leap of faith and can’t believe the Lord has blessed me with this opportunity to spread his love and kindness in Eswatini, Ethiopia,and Cambodia.i can’t wait to spend the next year deepening my faith and trust in God’s plan.
As I sit here and write this out I’m struggling with what to say and how to find the words. I would have never thought about leaving the world that i know to go to different countries for 9 months and spend time with people that i don’t know. But i guess you could say God works in mysterious way.
I love spending time with my friends and visiting them at college.They always make me smile and lift me up. My family is my biggest supporter and i love how loud and crazy they are. i wouldn’t be who i am today with out them.
…sunflower are my favorite flower, this might sound weird but they has taught me alot about life. when sunflowers grow they always grow in a group never alone. They also move with the sun. they stand tall and bright.It’s a little like life, we are meant to grow together and not alone. i want to be like a sunflower so that even on the darkest days i will stand tall and find the sunlight.
