Hey, everyone! I’m so excited for the chance to go on The World Race! I grew up going to a Christian school from kindergarten through 8th grade. That doesn’t make me saved, but I accepted Jesus in my heart during that time. I stopped going to church sometime in elementary school. My parents didn’t make me go, and they aren’t consistent church-goers. I was called into the principal’s office in 7th grade simply to be asked where I when to church. I said I didn’t go to church. Conviction moment! After that I started going back to church. In 8th grade I was diagnosed with OCD. I still fight it today.

I went on my first international mission trip in 2010 when I was 16. I went to a children’s home in Guatemala and loved it! Ever since I’ve thought about doing international missions. I graduated from Liberty in 2016 with my bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Development. I’ve been taking care of children ever since! I currently work with babies/toddlers at a Christian childcare center. I went back to Guatemala last year which started my thinking about international missions again. I want to serve and grow closer to God! This trip is a great opportunity to do both!
