Hi guys!
I’m so excited to share what I’ll be doing this summer. God has blessed me with another great opportunity to do what I love most, serve His children. I’ve been praying about another mission opportunity for a while and God pointed me to the Adventures in Missions program. I’ll be traveling the Georgia for training days at the end of May before I fly to Argentina June 1st. After spending a month there, I’ll travel to Brazil for all of July and then head back to the United States August 1st.
Our first destination of the summer will be Mendoza, Argentina near the Andes Mountains. During the first month, my team and I will be partnering with Youth With a Mission, serving at the base and reaching out to the youth there. We will be helping with retreats, youth events, camping trips, and other outdoor activities. I will also be stepping out of my comfort zone with the opportunity to participate in street evangelism. I’m excited to experience this for the first time and share the love of Jesus with all the beautiful people of Argentina.
In July, (my birthday month!!) we’ll be traveling to Sao Paulo, Brazil. Here, me and my team will lead children’s programs and bible studies, focusing on building relationships and discipling the local children. We’ll be running games and activities for camps, kind of like a VBS. My heart is super happy for this because I loveee kids and teaching them about Jesus!
I beyond excited to see how God works through my team and I this summer and how many lives will be touched through us. Throughout the process of praying for another mission trip, God has taught me a lot about trust. Trusting His timing and His plans. I’m trusting that God has this whole trip in His hands and everything leading up to it. I’m learning to trust Him to give me strength and relying on Him to help me raise financial support. God always provides. I know that I can’t rely full on myself for this and that God has given us all different parts in His ministry. I pray that you consider supporting me prayerfully and/or financially and to join the ministry of spreading God’s love.
The total cost for my trip is $5,450, which includes travel, training, food, housing, and insurance. I need to raise this total by May 21st. I need to raise $2,725 by March 30th and $4,086 by April 28th. If you feel called to give financially, just know that any amount gave will be used to spread the love of God to those who truly need it (These donations are tax-deductible.) We’re looking for prayer partners to pray for the group, the ministries we will be serving at, our safety, the people we will be serving and working with in Brazil and Argentina, and the trip as a whole.
