Hey friends and family,
I have the coolest news to share as you may already know. Instead of working next year, I have decided to step out in faith and go on The Unscripted World Race (WR) that is leaving in 3 months. Prayerful consider partnering with me through prayer and financial giving.
The World Race is a program through Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational nonprofit missions organization that focuses on discipleship, prayer, and the relationship between God and his people. Established in 1989, it has brought over 100,000 people to the mission field. I am so honored to have been accepted into this program in order to share love all around the word!
I will be serving in Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Nepal, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. I will live in each country for one month. Although each country, month,week, and even day will look different, some of the things the team will be doing includes: playing with children, serving in hospitals, spending time with the elderly and partnering with community leaders/projects. I have SUCH a heart for missions, people and bringing heaven down to earth.
Please consider being a prayer and/or financial supporter. Please pray for the WR teams, leaders, partnering organization, host families and ect. Agree in prayer that we would delight in our new community together, grow together and everyone’s gifts would be used to bring glory to the Lord. The people we encounter along the way, please pray that way we will love, honor, respect and make connections that form lasting relationships. That everyone’s entire amount will be paid in full before we leave and peace will be in our personal finances.
The WR requires each participant to raise $17,900 for the Unscripted route. This includes the costs of training, travel, lodging, food, and other necessities while abroad. That being said, please pray about monthly support. I was looking for at least 60 people to donate at least $25 dollars monthly for 1 year. Regardless, any donation amount is a blessing and I am always thankful for your love and support. While you may not be traveling to a distant country, you are still doing something significant by enabling me to walk out my call and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

2.By check. Please make all checks payable to Adventures in Missions. In the check memo please write my first /last name Whitney Holmes and January Unscripted 2020 . Also include a fundraising card that is attached below. The fundraising card that must be filled out and sent with your check to the address listed.
