Hey, y’all!
I just wanted to take a second to update you on what is going on in my life currently. Like I said in my last post I am attending Lifestyle Christianity University leading up to the mission trip.
This school is so spirit-filled and lead it’s absolutely amazing. We all have one goal and that is to die to self and take up Jesus. For those of you that know me, I am a FEELER. Yet, while I have been here I haven’t “felt” a thing. I pondered over this fact for a few days trying to figure out, why? I remembered something that Todd White had shared way back in 2017.
Basically, we can’t afford to live based off of feelings that we get when being with God. If we choose to follow a feeling, we allow that to be what determines whether He is there or not. It only makes us vulnerable to the thoughts that the enemy can implant. This is why it is so important for us to develop a relationship with Jesus. Jesus IS there and always will be there. We need to TRUST Him and have faith that whether there is feeling or not we continue to work and live in Him and with Him.
LCU has been great so far and it has only been a week. The people here are awesome and the relationships that I have built here are great. Jesus is at work and it is evident. The school is currently hosting the “Power and Love” conference and it’s really amazing to hear other’s stories and join together to go on outreach. I have heard so many stories and have been able to plant seeds. It’s truly a great place to be.
