Hey guys!

I am excited to share with you the opportunity that God has given me. This summer, it has been placed on my heart to go on a mission trip to Brazil and Argentina, through Adventures in Missions. I will be traveling to Georgia for two days of training before I fly out on the first of June. I will be spending one month in each country and will be back in the States August 1st.

The first destination of the trip will be near the Andes Mountains in Mendoza, Argentina. This month my team and I will be focusing on serving as well as reaching out to the youth. We will be working with Youth With A Mission, otherwise known as YWAM, to help serve at their base. We will be setting up retreats and youth events. I will be able to help run camping trips and other sorts of activities. One of the highlights of this trip is that we will have an opportunity to evangelize on the streets of Argentina to love on the locals and share Jesus with them. This is going to be an experience that I have never really had and I am eager to step into it.

My team and I will also be going into Sao Paulo, Brazil, to help lead children’s programs and teach bible studies. Our focus in Brazil is going to be to build relationships with the children/locals and disciple them. The team and I will be reaching out to the community mainly through the children and youth which is really exciting for me because man do I love kids. We will be setting up games and activities almost in the same fashion as a “VBS” or day camp. It is going to be awesome to minister to the kids and bring them up in Christ. To encourage and love the next generation is a great passion of mine and I am super excited about this opportunity.

Jesus has shown me a lot of grace and love in the past year and a half. He has put people in my life that express the same love He has for me. This opportunity is a blessing and an opportunity for me to step into my calling as a Child of God. Before I leave for this trip, I will have been attending a school in Dallas Fort-Worth, known as Lifestyle Christianity University. This school is the perfect place for me to learn as much as I can about my identity in Christ. I struggled for a while trying to figure out what exactly I was going to do to start off my year in 2020. I was deciding whether to continue to attend the community college I was at, get a full-time job, or put myself aside and listen to God. As simple as that decision sounds I struggled with my flesh. I finally decided to follow Him and His plan. He told me to seek Him. In turn, I asked what that looked like, then in a matter of a week, everything began to unfold. I got accepted into LCU. Which is the perfect place to help prepare my heart for this mission trip.

As I have been preparing for LCU and raising for this trip Jesus has constantly reminded me of the word diligence. I will be doing my best in the upcoming months to seek Him diligently. I know God is calling me to serve, I am relying on Him for strength and wisdom as I plan to work and raise financial support. I know all good things come from Him, and all will be provided. As I have now expressed my heart to you and desire to serve in Brazil and Argentina this summer, I know that I am not able to do it on my own. And as you feel called, I would be blessed if you would consider supporting me prayerfully and/or financially.

The total cost of the trip is $5,450, which I need to raise by May 21st. I need to raise $2,725 by March 30th, and $4,086 by April 28th to stay on course. I am also seeking prayer partners to pray for our group, the ministries, safety, the people of Brazil and Argentina, and the trip as a whole each day throughout the trip. If it is your heart to be a prayer partner for us, I would feel overwhelmingly blessed; it takes all of us as the body of Christ. And if you feel God calling you to support me financially, please know that your gifts will be received as grace and will be used to serve those who are in need. These are tax-deductible donations, and if you are interested please click on the donate link above. Thank you for your support! I look forward to sharing with you about the preparations and the trip itself in the upcoming weeks/months, as well when I return.

In Christ,

Tony Kruithoff
