Lately I’ve been overwhelmed. But in a good way. 🙂
Quick lil praise report:
We met my first fundraising goal in a week. A W E E K, y’all. I needed $1000 dollars by the end of September, and we did it! I am so incredibly grateful to those who gave! (thank-you cards coming soon, so stay tuned =P) For those of you who are feeling led to give, my next fundraising goal is $7500 by the end of November *winks badly hoping it will entice you*
Honestly y’all, I am overwhelmed by the generosity of others. The amount of support from the people in my life for this trip is so amazing and so sweet to me. One kind person read my last post and gave me travel-sized hygiene products *cue actual tears* because I expressed that I would need to pay for hygiene products myself out of personal savings next year.
People I didn’t even ask for support from have given financially and are already following my journey and praying for me. People I was unsure about asking have come up to me and asked about my support raising. It’s incredibly humbling to me thinking about the support and love people are so willing to give me, even if I haven’t asked for it. It’s confirmation to me that I did in fact hear from the Lord, and that this is something He wants me to do. His ability to surprise me with His provision and flood my life with His goodness is amazing.
And I cannot wait to see what He does in and through my life next year on the World Race: America. I’m expecting His goodness to flood our nation, and I am so excited to be a part of it.
