Hello all,

I know that you’ve likely heard this phrase a billion times in the last two months, but I truly hope that you are all staying safe and healthy in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic. This has been a challenging phase of life for me, and I know this is the case for so many others as well. There has been an incredible amount of change to which to adapt.

If you prayed for my team and I and/or donated to my World Race Philippines fund, thank you so very much! I have experienced nothing but support and encouragement since I committed to the trip and I reached my 100% financial goal!!! As I wrote in my previous blog post, none of this would have been possible without the support of my community. I’m so thankful for each and every one of you!

Our team did receive the unfortunate news that amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, our June trip to the Philippines was cancelled. Although this was disappointing for our team to hear, the decision was made with our best interests in mind.

We have been offered multiple alternative options. I have considered these options and have decided to wait until the summer 2021 mission trips are announced (this fall) to make a final decision. We are able put our funds toward another World Race trip until the end of summer 2021. I will prayerfully consider the options once they are available and I will make a decision based on where I feel God is calling me. If I’m not able to go on any of the World Race trips next year, your donations can be refunded. I will keep you updated as I receive more information.

I appreciate you and am very thankful for all of the ways that you’ve supported my team and I throughout this process! Although we may not be able to travel abroad this summer, we can still spread the love of Christ to those we encounter locally. People are hungrier than ever to receive good news, and as followers of Christ we have the ability to share the BEST news imaginable- the Good News of the Gospel!
