It still has not hit me 100% yet that I am going to embark on the trip of a lifetime with amazing people are geared towards a common goal. It has been a long journey already trying to figure out if this was even for me, but the more that I learned about this journey and the people that have done it and their experiences throughout the race I began to realize that this is for me. I talked with my parents and I know that they are very proud of me and everything I do and they will always support me and knowing that I have that support in my life is one of the most important things to me. With all of this change going on I know it won’t be easy to raise 16,000 dollars, but I know that everyone in my life and in my support system will be able to help me achieve my goals and allow ME, a college kid who is going on an incredible adventure, to do special things through the Lord himself. I cannot wait for this journey to begin and for all of the fun times that I will have with my squad and spread the word of God with the WORLD!
