Wow goodness gracious it’s been a bit since i last posted a blog but life has been CRAZYYYY! It’s okay tho i’m here now and i’m so excited!!!!
Boy oh boy have i got some updates for you though… pretty sure the last y’all heard i was going to Nicaragua.. Let’s just say a few things have changed! So the other day i get a call from Mack, (shout out to Mack!! u rock sister) my mission organizer go-to lady whatever you call her.. So she shares with me that a spot on the Costa Rica mission trip I had been waitlisted for– (I had been on the waitlist for this trip since the beginning of me deciding i wanted to go on a mission trip months ago) –had opened up!!!! And i just so happened to be the first in line:))) Let me tell you i was beyond stoked to hear the news and i felt like i knew exactly what God was telling me to do! So i told her i needed a few days to pray about my decision and everything just to make sure and not make any spur of the moment huge decisions without praying about it first.. So it was on my mind a lot the next day or two and whenever i thought about it, it always brought great joy, excitement, and surety to me. I just felt peace, like i knew exactly what i needed to do. So two or three days later I made my decision final and shared the news with her… So to sum all that up, I’m going to Costa Rica guys!!!!! While we are there we will spend a month serving the beach-side community of Jaco with a ministry partner called Ocean’s Edge. This trip will be focused on outreach to the surfing community and sharing the Gospel through various programs on the beach. We will get to lead children’s programs and surf clubs while also helping with improvement projects and painting murals on their property. We will spend a lot of time in prayer each day as we serve and work to reach the community for Christ. This will be a fruitful and fun month in Costa Rica as I grow in my faith and embrace the slow “pura vida” lifestyle. Anywayssss if you’ve read all this thank you and i appreciate you!
