Hello again friends!
As I am busily folding support letters and licking envelopes to send out within the next week, I am reminded of the power of prayer in this process. While financial support is vital to me physically going on my mission trip, your constant prayers are what make it truly possible! With that being said I want to make a point of posting each month about ways to join me in prayer. I realize that when my departure date gets closer, my prayers requests will change as the reality that I am leaving the country and my family and friends for six months sets in (AHHH). So in the meantime, here are some ways to pray!
1. Pray that I will lean into God’s calling and not question his voice. I am confident that God has called me to go out into His kingdom for a reason.
2. Pray for fundraising! Though I am about 25% funded (Praise Jesus!), asking people to support me financially is awkward and uncomfortable! However, I am learning to put my pride aside and allow people to glorify God through their giving. Giving is an opportunity for us to invest in the kingdom and honor God and who am I to stand in the way of that?
3. Pray for my life after this trip! Though I am extremely excited to go on this mission, I still have to figure out my plans for college when I return which is stressful!
