Hey friends! If you made it to this page, you are most likely here to learn some things about me 🙂 I am currently a senior at Blue Ridge Christian School, where I play volleyball and basketball. Aside from sports, I love to be outside (hiking, hammocks, kayaking, and everything else), do calligraphy, and hang out with my amazing friends and family. I have two sisters, one older than me and one younger, and I have a little brother. As a family, we love to go to football games, play Dutch Blitz, and eat raviolis.
The real reason you might have clicked this link, though, is probably to learn about World Race and why I’m doing it, so here’s the short version 🙂 First and most importantly, I love the Lord. His grace for me, in drawing me out of my sin and into His kingdom, overwhelms me, and any opportunity to share His love excites me. I’ve been on a two-week trip to Mexico with my church for the past three summers and I absolutely love it. The Lord has given me a heart for missions as well as a love for adventure. Because of this, I had been looking into opportunities involving these things, and World Race has been on my mind for a while. I began praying about it and entering into conversations with my family and friends, and my excitement about the race only grew. So that is the short version of how I got here, I’ll share more about that story in other places for sure, and I can’t wait to see how the Lord will work through me before, during, and after my gap year!!
