Hey everyone!
First, before I get into this blog, I want you to listen to the song “Heaven’s Secrets” by WILDER. Right now. Like, go listen to it right now. I don’t want you reading this blog without listening to that song.
Okay, so now that you’ve listened to that song, something that’s been on my mind lately is the word “reveal.” To reveal something is defined as to make (previously unknown or secret information) known to others. Did you know God reveals things to us? No, really think about it. The holiest being in this universe, the God of gods, the Lord of lords, the true King of everything in existence, reveals things to us. He reveals things to us when we accept Him as this divine, holy Father. The closer we grow in an intimate relationship with Him, the more He reveals to us through His love and His word.
“This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed.” -1 Corinthians 4:1
Think about that. When we accept Jesus into our lives, we are saved from our sins, becoming servants of the Lord, which we should gladly do because He loves us so freaking much He saved us when we didn’t deserve to be saved. That’s first, servants of God. But when we actually grow into an intimate relationship with Him and get to know Him and His character, He TRUSTS us with His secrets, His mysteries that the rest of the unbelieving world doesn’t know! We’re let in on His secrets! The God of the universe tells us secrets. Like what?!!
“…He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.” -Daniel 2:21-22
“The king said to Daniel, ‘Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.” -Daniel 2:47
The same God that revealed secrets and mysteries to other celebrities in the Bible, like Daniel, is the SAME GOD TODAY! How cool is that?!! When we live our life for the Father, committing ourselves to growing in relationship with Him, He reveals more to us than we could ever ask for! Mind. Blown.
So now, listen to “Heaven’s Secrets” by WILDER again. Keep all of what you just read in mind. Isn’t that just crazy?! God loves us so much He reveals His secrets to us. Now, think about your relationship with Jesus. How can you either start to or continue to grow in deeper intimacy with the Father and become more aware of everything the Lord reveals to you each and every day? P.S. I almost forgot! I’m excited to announce my squad and I are officially launching in January!!! We will be traveling to Central and South American countries, though we have not been told which specific countries yet or how long we will be spending in each country, but we’re still beyond thankful the Lord has provided this opportunity to do international missions like was the original plan! I’ll keep you guys updated when I find out more:)
