Hello Hello Hello!
I am officially no longer in the states, my teams’ flight just landed in Qatar, it was a 13 hour full flight. Our next flight to Johannesburg leaves in about 5 hours and it will be close to an 8 hour flight.
I wanted to give a quick update;
Training camp was about 4 days long, we had about 70 people split into 5 teams. We all met our leaders and officially met our teammates. This camp was incredible; the amount of things God did in such a short time with strangers was unforgettable. I learned so much about listening to God and the Holy Spirt. We discussed storytelling and how to share journey with others in a way they connect with. I am so blessed to be a part of this organization. The people I have met in the last few days, I consider some of my closest friends and I can’t wait to hear all that God does through them.
Camp was go, go, go! It was a wonderful experience. We really leaned into what our mission was and each other, it was quite emotionally draining but somehow spiritually exhilarating. I am tired already but I think its just because we still aren’t there yet. I have a feeling it will be real once we get off the plane in South Africa. Part of me just doesn’t know what’s happening.
I have made a decision to keep my phone off, I will be able to post blogs and pictures on this site, but that’s all I am going to do for the time being. I really want my focus to be on God and my relationship with Him and others around me. That being said, normally I would do a video blog. I might as the time goes on, but as of right now it’s just going to be me and my words. So please be patient with me. Writing isn’t my strongest skill but I hear God telling me to grow in expressing myself though words.
