Hey,

This is coming super late I know, and I want to apologize.

Overtime I’ve been noticing some questions popping up from others as well as myself regarding the logistics of donations, so I’ve done some investigation and have looked for answers, and wish to compile them into one blog post for your convenience. If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email!

1. Community Christian Fellowship Church of Canada (CCFCC)

– CCFCC is a cooperative partner with Adventures in Missions. It is through them that Canadian donors can receive tax deductions on their donations. For Canadian residents, the only donations that will get tax deductions are those that are given through CCFCC. Now, what does that look like exactly? I’m glad you asked.

There are two avenues for giving through CCFCC:

A. E-Transfer

E-Transfer is probably the easiest and most convenient way to give through CCFCC. All you have to do is send your donation to the email [email protected], then in a separate, follow-up email include the following information:

? Your Name
? Your Complete Address
? My Full Name (Nathan Elias Perez)
? My Program (World Race Gap Year)

And that’s it!

B. Cheque

Make your Cheques payable to CCFCC, attach your personalized Fundraising Card and mail to 1807 St Joseph Blvd, Unit 307, Orleans. ON, K1C 7C6, Canada. If I haven’t sent you a fundraising card already and you wish to give a donation via cheque, please email me with your full address so I can send one your way!

*Please note that donations given through CCFCC can take between 3-4 weeks to reflect on my Fundraising Summary*

2. Giving through Adventures in Missions

Adventures in Missions is the overseeing organization for World Race Gap Year and is stationed in the United States. Therefore, donations given through Adventures in Missions will not receive Canadian tax deductions. For those living in the States however, your donations will still be tax deductible. Here are some ways one can give through Adventures in Missions:

A. Online via debit/credit/bank draft.

To give online, click on the “Donate Now!” link located on the left side of this blog, or go to adventures.org/give and provide the information requested.

B. Mailing cheques/money orders

-You can mail to Adventures in Missions, P.O. Box 742570,

Atlanta, GA 30374-2570

Be sure to specify the program it’s going to (World Race: Gap Year) and my full name (Nathan Elias Perez)!

3. My Goal

One last thing to clarify, the fundraising goal seen above, the $15,800, does not accurately depict how much money I need to fundraise for donors in Canada. Since Adventures in Missions is an American organization, that goal is in USD. I actually need to fundraise over $20,000 CAD to be fully covered. So if you notice your donation seems smaller than it is, that’s why!

Thanks to everyone who read this, and like I said before be sure to email me any further questions!
