When making big decisions it isn’t uncommon to be met with the question, “Why are you doing what you are doing?”

Why would a 20 year-old give 11 months of his life to missions over work or finishing a degree?

Why would anyone want to go through fundraising $17,000?

Why would someone want to carry around a 40 plus pound backpack while trekking through 3rd and 4th world regions?

When met with this question, I like to answer with: Why wouldn’t I?

Why wouldn’t I want to answer Jesus’s call with a resounding yes?

Why wouldn’t I want to give my life to a purpose higher than my own?

The WHY is very simple for me. Jesus saved my life when I had no where else to turn. How could I be content with doing anything other than serving Him?
