Hey, everyone! My name is Madison Stephenson and I am so happy to announce that I will be taking a gap year with Adventures in Missions. I have felt called to do this since my sophomore year of high school and now here I am, two years later, actually preparing to go out into the world and minister to the Kingdom. Crazy how amazing our God is, right?
I’m eighteen years old and a senior at Bishop Snyder High School. I have always been super curious about the world around me and love to learn. I am a huge lover of animals and an avid drinker of coffee. I love being active and I am super competitive so I play sports year round: volleyball, soccer, and pole vault. But I also enjoy taking time to relax by reading or painting or watching a movie (and I love just about every movie I’ve ever seen). I also love the outdoors so I will take any chance I get to be outside, but my favorite activities would have to be hiking and camping. To sum it all up, I can have fun doing just about anything!
This next year and while I’m on the race, I want to continue to develop my relationship with God, deepening my trust and dependency on Him. I’ve always felt called to help people and now that I get the chance to in such a big way, I hope that you will continue to follow my story, or rather God’s story, during this journey.
Thank you and God bless, Madison.
