Heyyy everyone!!!!

First of all I am so pumped up for this adventure!!!

Second, I am Madeline Elizabeth Doyle I am 18 and my day to day life mostly consists of work. I work at hospital full time and I work at Chickfila part time:) The days I am off work I try to paint, I love nature, animals and watching the sunrises and sunsets! I have not had a lot of time to paint lately because of work….but  when I am off work, I try to read or paint or take walks outside or attempt to do yoga:) I also love to tie-dye!! Colors are amazing and colorful clothes are awesome! My wardrobe consists of mostly Goodwill items and tie-dye…and yes, I do have a tie-dye shirt for everyday of the week:)

I love people! I love learning about other cultures and experiencing the lives of different people groups. One life experience that really impacted me was opening my home and family to foster care. My family fostered children from 0-18 for 5 years. It definitely was Not easy or fun all the time, my family currently has 2 foster boys and it has been a struggle on everyone…but my family is strong and with God by our side we did and will get through it. Every child was different and everyday was a struggle, and we were faced with new challenges, but it was an experience I will never regret.

From a young age God has laid on my heart to be a missionary. I have always had the desire to travel to small areas of the world and preach the gospel. I have had opportunities to travel outside of the US, and my nerves and my lack of confidence in myself has held me back…but now I know that I am here to do what God has called me too, I can not rely on myself. I am nothing without God, but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!  Even in the uncertainty of the unknown, God will guide me. It has taken me years to really understand this…this past year has been a struggle. I have felt very alone, and my heart has been heavy…but It was God showing me that I can not do life without him. I felt alone because I had put God aside and forgot about Him…but He never left me.

I am so excited to see what God has in store for me and my team on during this world race!
