Hello Friends, Family, Jesus lovers, and Adventure lovers!! My name is Liz Hoover and I am so beyond excited to be starting this new adventure in my life! I’m an easily excitable, silly, adventurous, human-being filled with God’s love, a lot of excitement, and pure joy at the thought of this opportunity! In a little less than a year, I will be starting my journey of traveling to eleven different countries within eleven months….. Wild right!? I’ve spent the past few years learning who Jesus is, completing my College degree, learning who I am, traveling around and embracing God’s beautiful creation, and working at a Christian summer camp. I’ve always had the desire to travel to other Countries and do the Lord’s work but I never imagined I would actually have the chance to. I’m extremely passionate about listening to the Lord’s leading in my life as well as going on adventures, and now I get to combine the two! Looking back I never thought I’d have the opportunity to do this, and yet here I am at the very beginning stages of the process. I believe God is calling my heart on a new, exciting, challenging, growth-filled, awe-inspiring adventure and all I can do is say YES! I had heard about World Race from many different people, but I hadn’t jumped on the idea until last semester when I felt God calling me on a new adventure. I always imagined that by this time in my life I’d be working a full time job, going back to school, or becoming involved in some sort of Ministry. I now know that what God has in store over the next two years is exactly what I’m supposed to be doing and exactly where He wants me to be.
