Hi everyone! Our squad left Jaco on March 4th & has been in Vigía, Costa Rica since then. This is where we’ll be staying for the rest of our trip! Vigía is near Nicoya, which is one of the five places in world that is considered a “blue zone.” Blue Zones are regions of the world where a higher than usual number of people live much longer than average. Blue zones can be set apart by different characteristics, including their diets, type of exercise, & values. It’s such a cool opportunity to live & learn from this region of the world! During our time here, we are living & working with a local church & the pastor’s family. They have welcomed us with open arms & we have quickly felt like a part of their family!! We are currently repainting the roof of the church & leveling out ground around the building. Every night we get to play soccer & football at the local park & soak up some sweet time with the kiddos. Vigia has been so sweet & good to us- more updates to come!
