This lovely blog post is coming to you from the beautiful Jacó, Costa Rica!! Now- you might ask, “wait you’re not going to Nicaragua & Honduras anymore??” Nope!! God had some different ideas & all we had to do was say yes, send us! & in the midst of these past few months being filled with a whole lot of “no’s” “maybe next years,” & “sorrys” God has turned them into good news! He just had another plan for us. My wonderful team & I just left Gainesville, Georgia after four days of learning & growing in community at training camp. It was so dope! We gave thanks for shipping container showers & the vending machine that had Reese’s cups, & everyday we were reminded of the goodness of our God. In just four days all the strangers that piled in the door that day became my favorite people. On Tuesday morning we peeled oranges in the back of AIM’s van in the pouring rain & hopped on a flight to Costa Rica. As our (lovely air conditioned) bus pulled up to the compound at Ocean’s Edge, we were greeted by a smiley tunnel of excited 11n11 racers! What a surprise! What good news! So yes- around fifty racers of all age are living together in our beautiful Costa Rican treehouse. Complete with cockroaches, running showers (what?!) & BEDS. we are so dang grateful. Did I mention the beach is down the street? Wow. God has been teaching us how to listen & hear his voice, & it is loud here.

More updates to come, but until then we have a park wall to paint! & locals to meet! & the amazing word of god to share, to everyone that listens 🙂 pure vida babyyyy!!
