Hey everybody!!
As you know I am going on a 3 month mission trip with The World Race but you may not know exactly what I will be doing.
On January 23 I leave for Georgia to do a 3 day training camp and get to meet my team for the first time in person! Then on the 26 we will fly to South Africa and the adventure truly begins. Our first month will be spent in Johannesburg where we will work with Impact Africa to be trained in evangelism, begin learning the culture, and serving in a home for rescued infants. The second month will be in Swaziland, serving the community at care points, feeding programs, and even working with upcoming Swazi leaders! For our last month we will travel to Lesotho, spending time off the grid for most of the month. My team and I will build relationships with several villages in the area and get the opportunity to serve with a local kindergarten.
God has been waiting to call me into mission work and I couldn’t feel more ready than right now! The first thing I ask for is prayer. Prayers are a powerful way to support not only me but also my team as we all prepare for the journey God has for us. The second is financially, I understand not everyone is in a place to give financially and I pray if it is on your hearts to give how blessed it makes me feel!
