Hello Everyone!!
For all of you who are not my friends and family, my name is Johonna (jo-hon-nah) but to keep things simple I usually just go by Jo. I am 22 years old, born and raised in Missouri and a small town girl. I will be graduating with my RN in May 2020. Afterwards, I will be leaving in August for my three month semester mission trip in Thailand and Malaysia!!
I chose a semester race because I wanted to fully surrender my time and energy into serving others and hearing from God for three whole months. Words truly can’t describe how grateful I am to be given this opportunity and to be able to share the light of Jesus not only to those I will encounter in Thailand and Malaysia, but with my squad and all of you who are reading this and will be joining in my journey from now until then.
I have always felt called to missions, I have a heart to help people, and a passion to write about and capture the moments in between. And because of this opportunity that God has so faithfully provided, I get to do just that. I know that the Lord has called me to this semester mission trip for a purpose and I know that within this upcoming year God will grow and stretch my faith in unimaginable ways. I’m so stinking stoked to be able to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus and be able to tell people about his goodness who may have never even heard of His great name.
