Hey everyone!
First I want to apologize for not having updated my post in a long, long time. This is honestly my first time blogging, and I kept putting it aside. But throughout this past week God has reminded me that I’m not the only one participating in this mission. You, my supporters, are also called to be senders and prayer warriors and it is my job to keep you up to date on my status while preparing and on the field!! I will definitely try harder to keep this blog updated weekly

That being said, it was truly a blessing to be sent off by my home church this morning. I can feel my anxiety and worries fade through your continuous love and support, and as I learn to accept that I can’t accomplish this alone, but trust in God’s power that everything will turn out smoothly.

Now for the main course…

Nearly finished with packing, just need to double check and make sure I have everything I need. While on the trip, I have decided to keep a daily journal so that I can reflect on how the Lord has been working and let you guys know about specific prayer requests. Pray that I can stay consistent with this haha.

I will be leaving this upcoming Wednesday (1/22) to Atlanta, Georgia for a brief training camp. I’m not entirely sure what the training will consist of, but I know my team and I will be able to grow close and help each other be spiritually prepared before we head out to Nicaragua.

Before I take off, I’ll remember to update one more time, so stay tuned!!!
