As I sit down to write this blog to y’all, I am surrounded by the most breathtaking Dominican mountains. Before getting settled into the rhythm of living on Hope Mountain https://www.hope4drnow.org I want to take a moment and reflect on one of the sweetest times of my life-living at YWAM Puerto Viejo with 7 of the most intentional, God fearing, and courageous staff members I have ever met!

Rasta and Elsi were basically my parents away from home. They showed me immense love and patience. They lead with the most of the Lord’s grace I have ever witnessed in leaders.
Kish taught me the value of hospitality! She embodies home and comfort. She is also a great friend!!! She’s so so fun and I wish more than anything everyone one of you could meet her.
Steven. Y’all Steven was and is genuinely one of my best friends. He walks in the joy of the Lord and we constantly were laughing when together. I miss him so much and pray for him daily!
Jordy is one of the wisest men I have ever met. I learned so much from him about the Lord and His Word! This man made me laugh and was always there for me on the mountains or in the valleys!
Sammy! Ahhh oh my goodness Sammy was truly a friend to all. He is joyful and brings a smile to everyone he meets. He seriously loves without limits!
Conner James Bean! Wow, what a man, what a name. This man is a character! He is unapologetically himself and loves the Lord a lot.
I could write about these people forever!!! They opened up their hearts to 26 grigos and grigas and we left better because of them!! I love them immensely!!
