Hello everyone!
My name is Clara Scott, and I’m 18 years young :). I have lived in Little Rock, Arkansas all my life, and with that comes the desire to be a travel enthusiast. I’m currently a senior in high school and have a major case of Senioritis! I spend most of my days loving my friends and family and have spontaneous moments of worship in the car every now and then. I’m nowhere near being a singer so I’m truly making a joyful noise! (Bless all those who hear it!) I’m a lover of music and have frequent mini dance parties. With that, I love to go on exhilarating adventures or late night drives with my friends.
Stepping out of my comfort zone to experience different cultures and making new friends is something I love and what I would consider as one of my hobbies. I find myself telling others about people I’ve just met and -though I barely know them- I already consider them as my friends (not just an acquaintance). This is a factor that plays a huge role in why I’m taking a gap year and going on the race. I often feel trapped, like I’m not doing enough, and feel as though I need to go and help those who are lost. Jesus is the source of life and joy, and he’s the reason why I’m alive. This is the good news that needs to be shared, not kept closed up within myself. Joy and hope are aspects lost people are searching for, when you tell someone about Jesus and the joy He fills in your heart, that small fire within your heart ignites and soon catches the heart of a new brother or sister in Christ which then turns into a huge forest fire of people who are filled with the hope and joy of Jesus Christ.
Nothing hypes me up more than knowing what a huge opportunity God has given me to grow not only in my relationship with Him and knowing more of who He wants me to be, but also having an impact on the Kingdom, loving on strangers and honestly just living for Christ!!
