Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a beautiful day! My name is Chloe MacMillin, and I am from a northern suburb of Chicago!

I am so excited to share this amazing opportunity with you all! Starting in September 2020 and ending in May 2021 I will be traveling to eSwatini, Ethiopia, and Cambodia, continuing to grow God’s kingdom through missionary work!

Here’s some information about me!! 🙂

I am currently a senior at Glenbrook North, and at school, I enjoy mentoring freshmen and working with students who have disabilities. I always greet people in the hallways with a “hello” and a smile. I love seeing how impactful random acts of positive can change someone’s day!  After school, I am always with my teammates either in cross country, basketball or track and in my few weeks of offseason, I train for half marathons with my cross country teammates!

Outside of school, I always find myself at church! I am the intern for both the children and youth ministries at my hometown church, and this is where I found my passion for the Lord. I love spending time learning about my faith while teaching others about theirs.

I have spent the past 7 summers at Camp WeHaKee, and this summer I am heading back as a counselor!!

If you have any questions about me or the journey that has led me to World Race, please feel free to reach out! I love talking and connecting with people!

I leave you with a bible passage that a mentor of mine recently shared with me as I talked about my feelings with the year ahead. Joshua 1:9 reads, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Blessings!!

Chloe 🙂
