All the excitement is building up because I start training camp on the 23rd! I get to travel to Georgia and finally meet my amazing teammates in person. We will have 4 days of learning and growing closer to the Lord and each other before we fly out to Nicaragua on the 27th! For the first 3 weeks in Nicaragua we will be working with CICRIN Orphanage on Ometepe Island. A few of the ways we get to serve is by going on house visits, serving in the cafeteria, planting a garden, and helping in the kids program. My team will then travel to Palacaguina, Nicaragua where we will partner with 516 NOW Inc. to help with vacation Bible school, construction projects, and teaching in local schools. After 3 weeks in Palacaguina we will bus to Chichicastenango, Guatemala where we will stay for 6 weeks. My team and I will be doing community outreach, teaching in local schools, construction, and kids and youth ministry! I am so excited to love on the people of Guatemala and Nicaragua the way that Jesus would. I feel that this experience is going to impact so many people, including myself. Prayers for safe travels and a Spirit filled trip would be greatly appreciated!
