Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you in a time that is plagued with illness, chaos and fear surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time of turmoil in the world, I feel now more than ever compelled to start living my life for God. I firmly believe God has called me to stand with hope and resilience, not only in the midst of Coronavirus, but every day. Thus, I’ve decided to put a hold on my medical career in order to give myself over completely to the work of God. I have always longed for international missions, and this year the Lord has opened an unimaginable door, and I have been given the opportunity to travel the world and further His kingdom. Im so honored and excited to announce that in January 2021 I will leave for a year’s worth of mission’s work on the World Race.
The World Race is an 11-month mission trip to 11 countries around the world. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to woman and children trapped in prostitution because of human trafficking, and bring hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
The World Race has been a long-time dream for me, but surely I cannot do this on my own. To chase my dreams and pursue relationships with people around the world, telling them about the greatest love story of all, I need to raise support. The greatest support I could ever receive is that of prayer. Would you consider walking alongside me through this next season in prayer that my squad and I would have open minds and be willing to step out of our comfort zone to bring light to some of the darkest parts of the world? It is our desire to be nothing more than the hands and feet of Jesus to every person we encounter.
In addition to prayer support, I am needing to raise $17,900 over the next couple of months which will cover the cost of all transportation, food, housing, insurance and other miscellaneous costs. Please prayerfully consider supporting me during my journey. Any amount that you feel led to donate will help! All donations are tax deductible.
There are two ways to financially donate:
1. Via my blog [http://chelseadollarhite.theworldrace.org] — I will be posting regularly to keep you updated on my journey.
2. By check. Please make all checks payable to Adventures in Missions. I have enclosed a fundraising card that must be filled out and sent with your check to the address listed on the card.
I am so excited for this journey, and it is my hope that you would be excited too. Please consider supporting me! I look forward to hearing from you.
With love,
Chelsea
