Something that Gods been teaching me is finding my worth in Him alone. I am a people pleaser and I often find my worth in what others think of me. I started believing lies of the world that told me I am not pretty enough, good enough, etc. However, I realized that I will never be content in who I am when I place my value in people. When we find our worth in humans who are not perfect we will always be searching for more. No one can fill that void inside you because we are all sinners and at one point we will hurt one another even when we don’t want to. But when we place our hope and worth in Christ alone we will be filled with a love and peace that will never change. It’s easy to say that but it is a choice we have to make everyday to put the lies of the world aside and find our confidence solely in Jesus. 🙂
