It is so easy for me to live in my comfort zone. I have a wonderful family who loves me, amazing friends who support me, everything I could possibly need and want. I am so grateful for the life God has blessed me with! However, I believe God is calling me to step out of my comfort zone and truly SURRENDER everything to Him in order to fulfill his purpose for my life. The word “Surrender”, God put on my heart since day 1 of training camp. Matthew 11:39 says, “Whoever find his life will lose it, whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” That verse spoke to me and told me to give up the comfort of my friends and family, my normal day to day routine, warm showers, my money and so much more in order to find true life in Jesus. That is why I am going on this journey across the world to Southeast Asia (total opposite time change) with no expectations, no plan, no known friends, only Jesus. Let me tell you, it was’t easy, and It is still not easy. I have already fallen short and tried to compromise what I wanted, but God kept reminding me to give ALL because God needed my undivided attention this trip in order to restore my relationship with Him. I have already experienced God’s faithfulness in so many ways since I have been here and it is really incredible to see how God will bless you when you are obedient to His will and put your complete trust in Him! I trust that His plan for my life is so much better than any plan I could imagine. Thank you to everyone who is following along on my journey and praying for me!
