Heyo!
Thank you SO SO much for coming with me on this journey! Fundraising is in FULL swing(& it is going 100mph)! The Lord has been so kind to open so many doors of opportunity and growth! I am so blessed to have such an amazing community around me.
To start off, I’ll give you a lil’ update on fundraising: Everything is going great! THREE fundraisers have already been put into motion! Recently, we wrapped up a super fun Pampered Chef party that was hosted by an AMAZING friend. So many friends and family helped get the word out and people I don’t even know donated. With the funds from that, I reached my December goal!!! WOOHOO!! It has been so cool to see how specifically and intricately God works. In addition, a raffle for an electric bike my dad made kicked off a few weeks ago(it is still going on so get your tickets now!!). Again, the Lord has brought up people I didn’t even expect. I am SO SO thankful for His provision and the sweet people(YOU) that have allowed God to navigate their prayers and finances.
To be honest, it has been very difficult to keep track of the details within fundraising. “SURPRISE ABIGAIL fundraising is hard.” That’s why I am so glad it is not my work being done. It doesn’t depend on me whatsoever. I believe in diligence and working hard, but God has put the biggest peace over the finances. He called me into this right? Why would He not provide? Deuteronomy 2:7 reminds us, “The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.”
Disappointment WILL come. Not feeling like I’m doing enough is at the door BUT(hold your horses ma’am) in HIM nothing is lacking! I may feel unqualified or unworthy. Well, I AM unqualified and I AM unworthy. Yet, HE IS qualified and HE IS worthy. This isn’t about me! Why do I lack nothing? Because HE has blessed this. HE remains Lord. His truth is greater than our reality! His truth is greater than our feelings! He has shown me time and time again that this is what my future holds, HE HAS ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF IT. The funds, the traveling, the friendships, the highs and the lows are in His hands and my worrying is not going to stop any of it.
Anywayyyyy!!! I cannot thank YOU enough for being apart of this journey with me! It has barely begun and I have learned so much. Cannot wait to grow together! More blogs and fundraisers to come:)
