You haven’t heard from me in a little while. I, like the rest of the US, have been sitting at home in the midst of Covid-19, just waiting. But, I will admit, my waiting has been different from most of the country because I’ve been waiting to continue a journey of mission work and loving the world. I haven’t had a job or been stationary in one place as I’ve gone back and forth between my home in Midland and my missional community in Colorado.
The days of waiting for an answer about what’s next are over, but the news is admittedly bittersweet.
WE ARE RE-LAUNCHING!
But not into South America or Europe as we had planned. Right now, I would be in Portugal/Spain if everything had gone to plan.
God has a different plan and purpose for B Squad in the coming months.
We will be loving our very own United States of America.
We will be re-launching as a part of World Race America!
I’m excited. Truly. These aren’t the plans I had, but I know they’re the best way to love the world at this time. God, I’m sure has far bigger plans than I can imagine. My excitement will grow, I’m sure, as I see the amazing things God wants to do in this country and how I can be a partner.
There are a lot of reasons to love on my fellow Americans right now.
It’s an honor to be called into partnership with God.
So, how this works is we plan to move around to new states every few weeks, everywhere from Wisconsin to California to Texas. But, we’re holding onto everything loosely because we know Covid-19 is still a factor to take into consideration.
But I’m blessed, most of all, I feel because I’m re-launching with my entire original team of 10 and my original squad leader. The 11 of us will can continue building the relationships we started in our 3 months traveling the globe. B Squad is absolutely a family in Christ, and I look forward to these coming experiences with them and to bringing the rest of my worldwide family on this trip with us through this blog.
So get ready, get set, and let’s go love AMERICA!
