A couple days ago we had corporate worship at the beach in Jaco. We surrounded one little Bluetooth speaker and began to sing out our praises. I felt like I was being confined to a small space and I wanted to feel free so I put on my headphones and walked down the shore away from my squad. I was enticed by the water and began dancing and running from the waves as they crashed on the shore. I noticed a woman close by and I moved out of her way as I continued to interact with the water.
After awhile I decided to head back towards the squad. The woman stopped me and told me she had never seen anyone “play with the water.” She said she was captivated and couldn’t look away. I explained that I was simply worshiping God, the maker of the ocean. She told me never to stop playing with the water. We spoke about why each other was in Jaco. I asked her if I could pray for her and she cheerfully accepted.
I prayed for her business ventures and prosperity as we walked back down the shore. I could feel her smile even though I couldn’t see her. When we got back to the squad she gave me a big hug and told me to add her on Facebook to keep in touch. I believe God watered her seed with the ocean water that night. I pray that he continues to put strangers in her path to show her God’s love. My God is so good!
