The question I get most frequently as I prepare to go on the World Race is are you excited? or nervous? maybe scared? The closer I get to launch the more I realize that I have this peace that only God can give. I know next year will test my faith and be hard but I am stepping out in faith and taking it one step at a time. I watched Frozen 2 a couple of weeks ago and the song “The Next Right Thing” made me think about our faith as Christians. The lyrics are as follows:

“Just do the next right thing
Take a step, step again
It is all that I can to do
The next right thing
I won’t look too far ahead
It’s too much for me to take.”

God doesn’t call us because we know everything. He knows everything and he simply asks that we trust him enough to follow him wherever he may lead. Today I ended a chapter in my life. I quit my first job in my field. I know that God will provide if I simply do “the next right thing.” Please pray for me and my squad as we follow God into the unknown. I love you, God!
