This is gonna be really brief.
Month 1 Guatemala
September 11, 2019: The first week in Guatemala is almost over and I can still barely believe I am here. This place is so beautiful and peaceful. The leadership team here are so loving and truly demonstrate what it’s like to live missionly. Tomorrow we will meet our ministry hosts and get to see where we will be doing ministry. My team’s ministry hosts are the One Way Community and we will be serving in San Lorenzo. I am so so excited to meet the people we’ll be working alongside and to see the people we will be serving.
September 12, 2019: Toady was Team Capable’s first day of ministry! Our ministry hosts are so kind and their hearts are fully devoted to the Lord and the people they serve. I am so excited to work alongside them as we pour into the people of San Lorenzo!
This week as been mostly just orientation and getting acquainted with our new home for the next three months. The people here are so sweet and the land is absolutely stunning. And I promise to give more updates next week about ministry and what that entails.
