My name is Rachel Rose, I’m 18 years old, and I live in beautiful Fort Worth, Texas.

In 2011, when my mom went on a mission trip to Nairobi, Kenya, God sparked the desire in my heart to do mission work. Even now eight years later that desire is just as fresh and strong as when it was first lit. I have never forgotten the call He put on my life the day my family and I dropped my mom off at the airport, and I can’t wait to see where God will send me.

In the past year, my relationship with my Father God has grown so deep. The spiritual healing I have experienced is beyond amazing. The new level of trust in the Lord that He has helped me gain is incredible. And the freedom I have found in resting in Him and His word is truly a blessing.

As I said earlier God has placed a call on my life. That calling is best put to words by my favorite Bible verse.

Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I, send me!'”

This verse puts to words the call I feel in my heart and the life I do my best to live out. Admittedly I fail, but when I do I ask God to give me another opportunity to try again, and the courage, strength, and wisdom to succeed.
