Today is an AMAZING day!! A good friend of mine, Anna, donated her gear to me…how awesome!! Anna traveled on the World Race Gap Year mission trip this past year, so she has been extremely helpful and such a blessing to me in this journey. I met her just a few months ago after she got back from her trip and God has used her in such an amazing way to introduce this trip to me. There’s a whole lot more to that testimony, but I’m gonna save that for another time 🙂
My home church is Brightmoor Christian Church, my mom’s home church is The Lakes Community Church. Every so often I go to one service at my church then meet my mom at hers. Anna also goes to the Lakes. Today, The Lakes was having a summer event where they held their church service outside and had a picnic and lots of fun stuff, so my mom and I went and Anna brought all her gear for me!! That gear has traveled through Swaziland, India, and Guatemala already, so I will be taking it through Guatemala (again) and Nicaragua, how cool is that?!
I am so beyond thankful for how God has used Anna as such a guide for me and a sister in Christ to answer any of my questions and support me. It’s so amazing how God orchestrates everything.
As I was driving home from church today a song came on my radio called “Faithful” by Elevation Worship. If you’re familiar with that song, it speaks about how great God’s faithfulness is and how He is more than enough. He always steps in, He always provides. It’s so true!! and I received evidence of that today. I’m gonna link the song, and I encourage whoever is reading to click that link and just take in those words. When I listen to worship music, I really try to speak the words of the song and take in what they really mean. After singing a song so many times, we usually tend to just sing them naturally and half the time, we don’t really consciously sing the words, they just come out and we don’t notice we’re even singing them. I do this sometimes, but God is worthy of us INTENTIONALLY singing His praise!

I am so thankful for how God provided for me, not just today, but everything He has done for me every other day leading up to today. I am also thankful for Anna and how she has been so open to being used by the Lord, and how that has impacted me so greatly. So Anna, if you’re reading this, you’re amazing!!
