I grew up in Gainesville, GA. I am currently a freshman at the University of South Carolina. I’ve been in college a year and am choosing to take a semester off – that must mean I hate it, right? Just the opposite. I fell in love with this school and the people. This has been a year of unbelievable growth for me, and I have never been happier! So why am I choosing to leave? Because God provides and has given me a clear purpose. Matthew 20:28 says, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve others and give his life as a ransom for many.” If He could give everything for me, how can I not devote my life to Him?
It’s that simple. I get to use this incredible opportunity to serve Him by sharing his good news and the love He has for all the broken people of this world. I serve a wonderful Savior and plan on glorifying Him in all that I do!
