Thailand for ya girl is in full send friends!

Before being completely and fully in Thailand, July 1st through 3rd,, I made a stop in Gainesville, Georgia to plow the grounds of my heart and channel a receptive spirit to God’s voice, His mission, and the Kingdom. In preparation for Thailand, my team and I (14 of us) stretched all areas of our spirit to take captive our motives and actions for this upcoming month. God is already taking what I know to be uncomfortable and reediting my knowledge of discomfort. He is correcting my terminology of who I am to Him. That I walk not only as a servant of the King but as a Daughter of the King. It’s not sin that He sees when He looks at me, but it’s a clean, new me He sees because Jesus washed away all my dirt at the cross. Training camp enlightened me with an abundance of truth and teachings from previous World Racers; and training camp also extended me with a living style consisting of bucket showers, no utensils to eat meals, brushing my teeth with a water bottle and getting some night sleep scattered across the tile floor with thirty plus girls.

So in other words… I have spent the past 48-72 hours understanding and appreciating the normalcy of a third world country. I am already learning that my normal routine of living in the states is someone’s expensive luxury and that discomfort to me is someone’s normalcy for living… which is redefining my idea of what’s truly expensive and luxurious at hand. Besides crashing on the floor with a blanket and spending some quality time on the royal throne of a porta potty, the past days have been piled with holy words and exhorted messages. Having World Race family members and past honorable racers come and pour their wisdom over us has fanned the flame of passion in our hearts and the Kingdom on our minds.

Jesus is taking me down a road of abandoning comfort and devoting every breathe to His Kingdom.

Abandoned and devoted. Starting something new, something different. Something I have no expectations for. But only expectations for the God of the Universe to show up in a miracle kind of way and in an evergreen kind of love. My trip to Thailand is your trip to Thailand too!!!
