Exciting News!!

So like I said yesterday, I have some super exciting news to share with you all!!

As you all know, for the past month I have been in Gainesville Georgia receiving discipleship training. We have not been able to leave campus due to covid restrictions however, soon we are going to have an amazing opportunity. AIM has been trying super hard to follow covid restrictions but also allow us to live the WR life and leave campus for ministry. They have found one thing we can do this for.

According to the laws of Georgia state, we technically fall under the category of a summer camp and are only allowed to leave for ‘camp related reasons’. So by the grace of God and our amazingly intelligent AIM staff, they have classified a mission trip to Louisiana as a camp related reason.

From the 24th to the 31st of October, we are headed to Lake Charles Louisiana to help with hurricane disaster relief. We will be coming alongside Samaritans Purse to help clear mess, rebuild communities, hand out food and water, and whatever else they need us to do.

I am super excited for this opportunity and I can’t wait to see how the Lord will work in the lives of ourselves and others. Finally, after all this training we will get to put to practice ministry, servanthood, and spreading the good news of the Gospel. I’M SO STOKED!! XD

So that was my exciting news. Please be praying for my squad before we launch! We all have to get negative covid tests before we arrive to help Samaritans Purse and we have to safely make the drive of 10 hours and 20 mins down there.

Heres a link to a video that better shows/describes what the organization Samaritans Purse does. Its pretty cool!
