(If you haven’t read my previous blog, Important Updates about the Fall, read it first. It will help you understand this one better. )

God is so Good.

I’ve felt called to missions for a long time now. Since I was about 13. I can’t believe that roughly 4 years ago, me and my mom found the WR and began to pray and see if it was the path for me. I can’t believe last summer I applied for the WRGY and got accepted. I can’t believe that within less than a year, God raised $16,000.

Well, I guess I can believe it since it all has happened. :0

Our God is an awesome God.

Before we got the news about what was going to happen in the fall, I had full faith we were going to launch to our countries in September. When the news came out that that wasn’t going to happen, I was a little shaken up.  I knew that plan had existed and I was ok with it, but when it became a reality, I didn’t know what to think. Then there were Q&A calls, squad members leaving or deciding if they should leave and just a whole lot of unknowns due to the change in plans and perspective of what this was all going to look like.

That night I went out and sat in my comfy space. I stayed there from sunset to darkness playing worship songs on my penny whistle and talking to God about everything that had happened and all my thoughts. Just an hour later, a good friend supported me with $1000 making me fully funded and at that point I just cried.

“Before they call, I will answer. While they are still speaking I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24

With that last fund, Jesus just opened my eyes. Now I know more than ever with all this chaos happening and with all these crazy changes being made, God is still in control and he knew all these things were going to happen and he is going to use them to bless me and many others. He confirmed faithfully that I was still on the right path, that I was still meant to go. So I will. I believe now seeing through Gods eyes and not my own human perspective, that this first semester in Georgia will actually be a great opportunity. This season will be for training, teaching, leading and equipping us better to spread the gospel and Jesus’s love on the field, both to other countries and in our own.

Thank you to ALL who have supported me on this journey. Prayerfully, personally, and financially. I could not have gotten here without you and I will forever be grateful. You have changed my life for the better with your support and most likely many others as well.

Like I said in the video I posted on Facebook/Insta, if you have not yet supported me and you want to, YOU STILL CAN! If you donate through my blog, the money will go to help Adventure in Missions not me personally – it’s still a great donation though if you would like to tithe. But if you want to support me still, you can via, cash, check, Venmo, and visa/amazon gift cards. I still need to get some gear before we launch and the $16,000 covers my food, lodging and travel not my personal spending money.

So yes … IM FULLY FUNDED!!! YAYAYAYYYYAYYYAYYYYAY!!! 😀

AGAIN … THANK YOU ALL!

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Jesus Christ through out all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

The next time I post will likely be closer to launch (sept) so until next time.

Many thanks for reading this,

Alex 🙂
