This song was originally written when I was home for Thanksgiving and found out we weren’t going back to Gainesville. I was struggle with feeling alone because of the separation from my World Race community. When I picked up my guitar to worship, in an attempt to lift my spirits, I heard the Lord tell me to just sing. So I did and He spoke through me.
I came back to this song a couple weeks when I had dengue and was in some of the worst pain I had ever felt. I spent a lot of time praying for God to take the pain away. Even though that prayer wasn’t answered for a week, I know it was in His time. Through out that week I was reminded to look for God in pain and the healing.
I’ll see you in the light of day
Where the sun will fall upon you face
I’ll meet you in the darkest night
And the moon and stars will shine so bright
I’ll hold your hand at your lowest stop
I’m there when you think I’m not
Call into the void
And I’ll be there
Anytime
You feel all alone
Look for me
And I’ll be there
Anytime
You’re running in the dark
Look for me
And I’ll be there
I’ll be there on the coldest day
The ones you feel you cant escape
I’ll find you in the awful storm
And child I will bring you home
I’ll hold your hand at your lowest stop
I’m there when you think I’m not
Call into the void
And I’ll be there
Anytime
You feel all alone
Look for me
And I’ll be there
Anytime
You’re running in the dark
Look for me
And I’ll be there
I’ll pick you up when you fall apart
Hold the pieces of you broke heart
Catch you when you fall
And I will be your place to run
I’ll hold your hand at your lowest stop
I’m there when you think I’m not
Call into the void
And I’ll be there
Anytime
You feel all alone
Look for me
And I’ll be there
Anytime
You’re running in the dark
Look for me
And I’ll be there
