Dear friends and family,
I want to start off by saying THANK YOU. Thank you to everyone who has graciously decided to walk this journey out with me. From the financial support, to the encouragement, to the prayers, to even just taking time to read my posts the love and support I have received has been amazing. So thank you!
Next, incase you either arnt friends with me on facebook, or missed my update post I am sad to inform you that I did not launch with the Jan. 2020 squad. This was a very difficult thing for me, and I am so thankful for everyone who has reminded me about Gods timing. (Jan. 2020 squad is currently in peru finishing up training camp and if you would like to still follow their journey and pray for them you can Click here ).
My journey with the world race is not over. My new plan is to launch in 1 year. Jan 2021. All of my money currently raised will go towards this route, minus the cost of the plan ticket that was purchased for me to go to Peru.
My new countries will be Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Nepal, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile. So six of these were on the original plan, and 5 are new. Out of the 5 new ones I am super excited about Ukraine because I got to spend some time there this past summer and I’m excited to maybe visit some friends. I also am super excited about Thailand because it has always been on my heart, and I know a sweet little girl from there.
The past few weeks have been a whirlwind. I got sick on the first and I am just now starting to feel almost back to normal, I obviously didnt launch with my squad so that took a lot of processing, and I recently found out someone close to me has a diagnosis of cancer (not really my story to tell, so I wont go into a lot of details but I will ask that you pray for me and those close to me. Thanks), I’ve had 3 roommates leave, and 3 new ones join us. And I have started working full time at my job since I will not be attending LCU nor leaving the country.
But through it all I am reminded of Gods goodness and faithfulness. I am glad I was not in another country when i got the news about cancer, I am glad that while I was sick I had a place to rest and get better rather than trying to pack and travel, and I am also THANKFUL that 2 people I have already connected to are on my new squad (:
Also my new goal is now $17,900.
I’ve decided to try and raise $1,500 monthly in order to be fully funded by December. The easiest way to do this is to have some monthly supporters.
Amount per month number of people
$5.00. 300
$10.00. 150
$20.00. 75
$25.00. 60
$50.00. 30
$100.00. 15
I would love to invite each of you to prayerfully consider partnering with the Lord and the work that he is doing around the world through Adevnetures in Missions, in particular with the World Race and myself. You can do so by clicking the donate button on the top of this page then follow the prompts. All donations made through my blog will go directly to Adventures in Missions into an account for me, and will be tax deductible. If you would rather give to me directly feel free to reach out and I will share with you ways to do that.
Thanks so much for reading all of this, and for following along!
With much love,
Michelle
