This week I have seen many many miracles. I would LOVE to talk to you about them if you would like to hear. I originally intended to share about a few that really touched me but the Holy Spirit decided to lead me in another direction. He reminded me of the first miracle I ever saw. The one where my destiny changed from death to life. The one where a guy named Jesus gave up his life for mine so that I may live.
You see, yes healings and miracles happened this week, and yes we celebrated the heck out of them. The focus of this week however was not miracles and healings. The focus was Jesus. How sweet a name.
Do you know Jesus?
Have you heard his name?
Have you experienced his love?
I think a lot of people including myself have heard the name of Jesus, have heard of his love, even believe in his love…for everyone else but not me.
Of course many of us wont admit that.
Some of us are deceiving ourselves saying Jesus loves me but our words, our actions, our view of ourselves, and our view of others do not reflect that. Somewhere along the way we believed a lie, somewhere along the way we traded the Love of God for some much cheaper version of “love” that Is defined by the world.
I just want to encourage you today and let you know that JESUS LOVES YOU. Yes, you. He knows you by name. He is for you. He already knows you, and he wants you to know him.
My bible plan this week was through 1st 2nd and 3rd John. And it was so refreshing and beautiful to go back to the basics of love.
