WE WENT TO GREECE! AND I MADE A VIDEO!!!! YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT!

so our squad gets “adventure days” and “off days” every month, and we had the opportunity to put them together and spend 2 days in Greece! we went to Chalkidiki, a BEAUTIFUL city right on the beaches there! we all rode in little vans for 12 hours to get there.
when we finally arrived, our driver, Alex (he’s our ministry host Raul’s brother) showed us our apartment we were staying in and told us to meet him at the roundabout at 10 if we wanted to tour a bunch of beaches the next day.
my roomies and I all got up and met Alex who took us on a big tour of a bunch of beaches around Greece & it was absolutely gorgeous! and the weather was amazing the entire time we were down there, too!
the second day in Greece some friends and I were exploring the town and looking through shops. At one of them as we were heading out, one of the employees started talking to us. Anna, one of the wonderful gals on my squad, asked if there was anything she could pray for her for, and we all ended up praying over her hip and knee. she thanked us and we walked away and ended up eating dinner at a restaurant right next door to the shop she worked at. she came up to us beaming saying that her knee and hip were feeling a lot better & asked us to come back to pray for her boss, Aroola!
as we finished our dinner, a few other girls ran into us at the restaurant and went w us to pray for Aroola. we asked Aroola what she wanted us to pray for, and she listed out some family members and it turns out we had the EXACT amount of people for each of us to pray for one of her family members and her!
praying for her was such an amazing experience! Once we finished, she explained how she just felt so much PEACE and we were all like YES! THAT’S THE LORD! HE IS GOOD! it was so so exciting wow. & Aroola was so thankful for us being willing to pray for her that she let us pick out a few bracelets each to take home! we picked out one bracelet and all got matching ones & gave one to Aroola, too, so we could remember how good our God is!
here’s some other fun things that happened in greece:
- corn rows! what are the odds is taken very seriously in this squad
- cliff jumping! yeah. we did that. I’ve alwayysssss wanted to do it & what better place than greece!
- shopping! there are all sorts of cute shops that we were able to walk around in
- foooooood! we got to try some gyro (apparently it’s pronounced like “euro” haha) and it’s SO GOOD!
- boats! some of the squad almost got to ride on THE! KING! ALEXANDER! for a day!
- Longgggg car rides! we took some fat naps and had some great jam sessions
