hey what’s up !! my name is lily and i’m about to travel to three continents in nine months and share about Jesus!! i’m very excited and i hope you are too.
i’m 18 years old and am a senior at northwood high school. i love chemistry and science and i also love choir and singing. i enjoy learning and being able to understand new ideas, but i don’t really enjoy school in general (lol).
i live at home with my parents, jeff and sarah, and my two cats, dude and dash. i also have an older brother, isaac, who is 21. he is a senior at taylor university and is studying physics. my family really likes to travel and visit national parks or other cool things in nature. we like to camp and then spend the majority of our trips hiking and exploring.
in my free time i enjoy going to coffee shops and doing homework in a nice and cool environment with good coffee and pastries. i also really enjoy being outside, hiking, camping, and rock-climbing when given the chance. i work at main street roasters, a coffee shop in my hometown. i am a barista and would love to make you some delicious coffee drink sometime ! 🙂
i am going on the world race because i am passionate about the world and social issues and people. i am also passionate about people knowing Jesus and the joy he can bring. this has been something that i’ve wanted to do for quite a bit of time and i finally get to go which is so exciting and happy!! i leave in september and will be going to romania, india, and costa rica. if you want to learn more about that, you can read my first blog i wrote in september.
i am so excited for this super dope journey and would love to have you all walk alongside of me and be apart of it as well!!
