When Corona first started closing and cancelling things, I wasn’t too concerned about the race. I thought everything would pass, I thought I deserved a gap year, this is what the Lord called me to do he will make it happen (the way I wanted it to happen). But in the past month, God has completely shifted how I view his plan and his faithfulness. The Lord called me to the race knowing this would happen.
Sooooo instead of launching for the international field in September, my route and I will be moving to Gainesville, Georgia from September – December doing local ministry, leadership and discipleship training. We will launch in January and spend 5 months international instead of 9. We still don’t know for sure what countries we will be going to since every country currently has different restrictions. But I will keep y’all updated!
The Lord has taught me his ways are higher than my ways and His thoughts higher than my thoughts. He’s showed me the race isn’t about me. It’s not about traveling. It’s about Jesus. It’s about knowing Him and making Him known right where you are.
I’m still fundraising, and my fundraising goal hasn’t changed since living in Georgia is pretty expensive. Any amount seriously helps so much!!
